On January 9th 2018 the BAS App for both Apple and Android devices was updated with out new logo and colors along with other minor code enhancements for the new iphones. The mobile app is available to all our members and is an easy way to track your health insurance on the go. Through generous donations of our employees & partners Team BAS was able to raise $20,853 for the American Heart Associations Metro Walk 2017. In addition to the generous monetary donations Team BAS used multiple raffles, split-the-pots, bake sales and more to rank #4 in our efforts amongst the over 1400 teams that registered for the annual fundraising event. Through the financial support of the Heart Walk, we’re not only helping hearts in our community, we’re also helping the American Heart Association improve patient care, fund lifesaving research and educate adults and children at risk for developing cardiovascular diseases. We are pleased to announce we are changing from individual Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to a Monthly Summary EOB. Beginning October 1, 2017, members will receive one EOB per month, making it easier to track their claims. Starting with claims that are processed in September, we will begin the cycle of the Monthly Summary EOB. The first monthly summary EOB will be sent early in October and will include all claims released for that member in the month of September. Images of Individual EOBs are available on the BAS member Portal, www.bashealth.com immediately following the release of payment.
